It is in great shape for its age but, does show signs of wear on the velvet. Mostly on the top and bottom corners. Very minimal wear on the inside other than maker's mark being a little worn. Includes tiny mirror but, it is old so not all that practical. Red velvet material is so smooth! Very luxurious! Gold metal shell shaped clasp.Just over 9 top of handle to bottom, 4 top to bottom, 9 across
